Vase en céramique raku émaillée à décor de sakura, vintage années 1980-1990
Charmant vase en céramique émaillée, type Raku, de style ou de fabrication Japonaise, vintage des années 1980-1990. Fabrication artisanale ou semi-artisanale, possiblement issu d'un petit atelier indépendant. Décor de branches de cerisier en fleurs, sakura japonais,en réserve sur surcouche rouge clair craquelé, avec nombreuses irrégularités de cuisson dans un bel esprit Wabi-Sabi. Ne peut contenir d'eau.
21cm de haut et environ 16cm de diamètre. Bel état général. On note deux petits sauts d'émail sur le col laissant apparaître la terre cuite, un discret choc d'émail sur la panse ainsi qu'un léger craquellement d'environ 6cm au niveau du pied, ancien et ne semblant pas fragiliser la pièce, possiblement d'origine (cuisson). Les nombreuses irrégularités de cuisson sont d'origine et participent au charme de l'ensemble. Environ 1,8kg.

The design features flowering cherry branches (Japanese *sakura*) reserved against a light red, crackle-glazed overlay, showcasing numerous firing irregularities that embody the *Wabi-Sabi* aesthetic. Can't contain water.
It measures 21 cm in height and approximately 16 cm in diameter. Overall, it is in good condition. There are two small chips in the glaze on the neck revealing the clay body, a subtle glaze impact on the body, and a faint crack (approx. 6 cm long) near the base; this crack appears old and does not seem to compromise the piece's structural integrity, suggesting it may be an original firing flaw. The numerous firing irregularities are inherent to the piece and contribute to its overall charm. Weight: approximately 1.8 kg.
