Vase Empoli verre Alexandrite du bleu au rose, grand modèle texturé années 60
Très beau et grand vase en verre soufflé Alexandrite, production Italienne des ateliers d’Empoli, travail vintage des années 1960-1970. Modèle à panse généreuse et col évasé festonné, entièrement texturé de reliefs géométriques offrant de superbes jeux de lumière, légèrement torsadé au goulot. Le verre est dit "Alexandrite" en raison de sa teinte changeante du violet au bleu sous lumière artificielle, et du mauve au rose à la lumière naturelle, comme la pierre du même nom possédant cette même propriété à changer de couleur selon l'éclairage. Belle qualité avec présence de fines bulles dans la masse, typiques du travail soufflé. Modèle rare en format vase qui se rencontre habituellement plutôt sous forme de carafe.
Hauteur 29 cm, diamètre maximal 18 cm. Très bel état général, on note seulement quelques rares et discrètes micro-rayures d’usage. Environ 1kg.

A very beautiful and large blown Alexandrite glass vase, Italian production from the Empoli workshops, a vintage piece from the 1960s-1970s. This model features a generous body and a scalloped, flared neck, entirely textured with geometric reliefs that create superb plays of light, and is slightly twisted at the neck. The glass is called "Alexandrite" because of its color-changing hue, shifting from violet to blue under artificial light, and from mauve to pink in natural light, like the gemstone of the same name, which has the same property of changing color depending on the lighting. It is of high quality with the presence of fine bubbles within the glass, typical of blown glass.
This vase is a rare piece, as it is usually found in carafe form. Height 29 cm, maximum diameter 18 cm. In very good overall condition, with only a few rare and discreet micro-scratches from use. Approximately 1 kg.
