Sujet, lion, hyène, bête en Bronze du Bénin Dahomey Cotonou vintage/ancien

Très joli sujet en bronze artisanal Dahomey Cotonou, Bénin, Afrique. Statuette figurant un lion, hyène ou autre prédateur tenant une proie dans sa gueule, mouton, antilope.... Bronze doré patine foncée/brune d'origine uniforme et propre. Travail de détails extrêment fins, martelé main. Vintage années 40-70 ou antérieur.
 
19cm de longueur max, 13cm sans la queue, environ 8cm de largeur max pour environ 16,5cm de hauteur max tête. Très bel état général, un petit choc sur le haut de l'oreille gauche assez discret, rien de notable en dehors de ça. Il s'agit d'une très belle pièce artisanale très travaillée qui ravira les amateurs d'art Africain. Environ 1kg.

Very nice subject in handcrafted bronze Dahomey Cotonou, Benin, Africa. Statuette representing a lion, hyena or other predator holding a prey in its mouth, sheep, antelope .... Gilded bronze dark / brown patina of uniform and clean origin. Extremely fine detail work, hand hammered. Vintage 40s-70s or earlier. 
 
19cm max length, 13cm without the tail, about 8cm max width for about 16.5cm max head height. Very good general condition, a small shock on the top of the left ear quite discreet, nothing notable apart from that. This is a very beautiful handcrafted piece very worked which will delight lovers of African art. About 1kg.
