Statuette africaine vintage en bois sculpté Afrique de l'Ouest XXe

Belle sculpture vintage du milieu du XXe siècle, en bois sculpté représentant une femme debout portant une jarre sur la tête. Réalisée dans un bois teinté foncé, artisanat de belle qualité. Probablement originaire d'Afrique de l'Ouest, elle rappelle le style des sculpture Baoulé. Sans attribution certaine. Une belle pièce décorative d'art tribal. 
 
56,5cm de haut, socle d'environ 13cm de diamètre et 10cm de profondeur. Bel état général, quelques usures, petits frottements/petites rayures et marques du temps cohérents avec son âge, sans manque. Environ 1kg.

A beautiful mid-20th-century vintage carved wooden sculpture depicting a standing woman carrying a jar on her head. Crafted from dark-stained wood, it is a piece of fine craftsmanship. Likely originating from West Africa, it is reminiscent of the Baoulé sculptural style. No definitive attribution. A lovely decorative piece of tribal art. 
 
56.5 cm high; base approximately 13 cm in diameter and 10 cm deep. Good overall condition; shows some wear, minor rubbing/scratches, and signs of age consistent with its vintage, but with no losses. Weight: approximately 1 kg.
