Sculpture bois monoxyle tête d'homme, artisanat vintage XXe années 50
Belle tête d'homme sculptée en bois monoxyle, travail artisanal de la seconde moitié du XXe siècle, années 50, dans un esprit moderniste et ethnique, brutaliste, possiblement issu d'un atelier ou d'école de sculpture. Le visage aux traits sobres et géométriques est mis en valeur par un long cou cylindrique et une belle patine brun foncé laissant apparaître le veinage naturel du bois. Inscription sous la base, vraisemblablement date de création 2.7.51, et une inscription d'inventaire plus récente au bic.
Hauteur 21,5cm, largeur 13cm, profondeur 12cm. Très bel état général avec quelques discrètes marques du temps et une fine fissure de retrait naturelle à l'arrière courant du cou jusqu'au sommet du crâne, sans fragilité. Environ 1kg.

An inscription under the base likely bears the date of creation 2.7.51, along with a more recent inventory entry in ballpoint pen.
Height 21.5 cm, width 13 cm, depth 12 cm. In very good overall condition with a few discreet signs of age and a fine, natural shrinkage crack running from the back of the head to the top of the skull, without any signs of weakness. Approximately 1kg.
