Saucière en grès émaillé Fontgombault, rouge et vert, vintage 1960-1970
Jolie saucière avec coupelle intégrée en grès émaillé de l’atelier monastique de Fontgombault, région de l'Indre, production vintage années 1960-1970. Belle forme ronde et équilibrée avec bec verseur et anse,émail nuancé rouge, sang-de-boeuf, profond, rehaussé de coulures et ponctuations vertes avec quelques accents bleutés. Le dessous porte l’inscription incisée "Fontgombault" ainsi qu’une petite marque "FTG".
Diamètre de la coupelle 15cm, diamètre de la saucière seule 13cm, longueur totale avec l’anse 19cm pour environ 5,7cm de hauteur. La pièce est en très bel état général, on note seulement des craquelures de cuisson sous la base, d’origine, l'une est traversante mais et émaillée sur le dessus, non fragilisante. Environ 700-800gr.

A lovely glazed stoneware gravy boat with an integrated saucer, made in the Fontgombault monastery workshop in the Indre region of France, a vintage piece from the 1960s-1970s. It has a beautiful, well-balanced, round shape with a spout and handle, and a nuanced, deep red, oxblood-red glaze enhanced with green drips and dots, and a few bluish accents. The base bears the incised inscription "Fontgombault" as well as a small "FTG" mark.
The saucer measures 15cm in diameter, the gravy boat alone 13cm in diameter, and the total length, including the handle, is 19cm, with a height of approximately 5.7cm. The piece is in very good overall condition, with only some original firing cracks on the base. One crack is through the glaze and extends to the top, but does not weaken the piece. It weighs approximately 700-800g.
