Qilin/Kylin chinois en céramique Jiaozhi polychrome émaillée signé avec boîte
Magnifique petit Qilin/Kylin, chinois en céramique Jiaozhi émaillée artisanale polychrome, entièrement décoré à la main et portant quatre cachets sur le socle. Vintage des années 1960-1980. Très belle représentation particulièrement expressive, au foisonnement de détails fins en relief et de couleurs très vives. Le Qilin présente un corps couvert d'écailles et de flammes, une importante crinière travaillée en volutes, une gueule ouverte laissant apparaître crocs et langue et une longue queue relevée. Il repose sur un socle rectangulaire richement décoré de rinceaux et de fleurs, entouré de différents attributs et objets symboliques. Très belle pièce de collection assez rare, vendue avec sa boîte de rangement d'origine en tissu broché rouge et or, munie de fermoirs.
14cm de longueur max au socle, 15cm de hauteur max et 7cm de profondeur max au socle. Très bel état général, on notera cependant un petit recollage accompagné d'un petit manque sur le haut de la crinière, assez discret à restaurer éventuellement. Environ 500-600gr.

A magnificent small Chinese Qilin (Kylin) crafted from polychrome glazed Jiaozhi ceramic; it is entirely hand-decorated and bears four seals on the base. Dating from the 1960s–1980s, this is a beautiful and highly expressive piece, featuring a wealth of fine relief details and vibrant colors. The Qilin displays a body covered in scales and flame motifs, a prominent mane styled in volutes, an open mouth revealing fangs and a tongue, and a long, raised tail. It rests on a rectangular base richly decorated with scrolling foliage and flowers, surrounded by various symbolic attributes and objects. A rare and exquisite collector's item, sold with its original storage box—featuring red and gold brocade fabric and clasps.
Maximum dimensions: 14 cm length (at base), 15 cm height, and 7 cm depth (at base). Excellent overall condition; however, there is a small area on the upper mane that has been reglued and shows a minor loss of material—a fairly inconspicuous flaw that could be restored if desired. Weight: approximately 500–600 g.
