Putto au miel en bois sculpté, d'après Feuchtmayer, Allemagne
Charmant putto "au miel", "à la rûche" en bois clair sculpté main, Fabrication Allemande vintage XXeme, circa années 40-50. Cette figure reprend le "Honigschlecker" ("goûteur de miel"), créé par le sculpteur baroque allemand Joseph Anton Feuchtmayer pour l'église de pèlerinage de Birnau, en Allemagne. L'enfant est représenté debout, portant contre lui une ruche dont il goûte le miel sur son doigt. La sculpture est réalisée dans un bois clair relativement léger, non verni, avec une chaleureuse patine dorée nuancée plus sombre dans les creux. Les reliefs et arêtes, notamment au niveau des cheveux sont poli et particulièrement patinées. Le putto repose sur un petit socle carré sculpté d'inspiration baroque. Pièce non signée.
28cm de haut, 12cm de largeur max et environ 6-7cm de profondeur. Très bel état général, sans fente ni accident notable, avec une belle patine et de légères traces d'usage. Environ 600-700gr.

This figure is based on the *Honigschlecker* ("Honey Taster") created by the German Baroque sculptor Joseph Anton Feuchtmayer for the pilgrimage church of Birnau, Germany. The child is shown standing, holding a beehive against his body while tasting honey from his finger. The sculpture is crafted from a relatively lightweight, unvarnished light wood, featuring a warm golden patina that deepens in the recesses. The raised details and edges—particularly the hair—are polished and show a distinct patina. The putto rests on a small, square, Baroque-style carved base. Unsigned piece.
