Élégant plateau à hors-d’œuvre ancien composé d’un plat compartimenté en cristal gravé reposant dans une monture en métal argenté finement ajourée. Travail d'orfèvrerie, poinçon "Sterling" et "427 W" au revers, à priori plaqué de belle qualité et non argent massif. Production Américaine des années 1930, attribuable à la manufacture Wallace d’après le décor et le marquage. Le cristal présente un très joli décor gravé composé de guirlandes florales et feuillagées entourant un motif d'étoile au centre, très fin et très chic.
Diamètre total 23cm, hauteur 3,3cm, diamètre de la coupe en cristal seule environ 8,5cm. Le cristal est en parfait état. La monture présente des rayures d’usage et de nettoyage, ainsi que de petite taches noires sur le fond, très discrets lorsque le cristal est en place, on notera également un petit choc discret et une légère déformation sur le rebord, et quelques légère traces de patine. Poids total environ 800gr.

An elegant antique hors d'oeuvre tray consisting of a compartmentalized engraved crystal dish resting in a finely openwork silver-plated mount. The piece is of fine silversmithing, hallmarked "Sterling" and "427 W" on the reverse, and appears to be of high-quality plating rather than solid silver. American production from the 1930s, attributable to the Wallace factory based on the decoration and markings. The crystal features a very attractive engraved design of floral and foliate garlands surrounding a central star motif, very delicate and elegant.
Total diameter 23 cm, height 3.3 cm, diameter of the crystal dish alone approximately 8.5 cm. The crystal is in excellent condition. The mount shows some scratches from use and cleaning, as well as small black spots on the base, very discreet when the crystal is in place. There is also a small, discreet chip and a slight deformation on the rim, and some light patina. Total weight approximately 800 grams.
