Belle plaque décorative murale en majolique italienne de Vietri sul Mare, fabrication artisanale peinte à la main, vintage des années 1950-1970. Figurant un grand soleil anthropomorphe au visage expressif, dans des tons lumineux de jaune et orange à détails noirs, typiques des productions traditionnelles de la côte amalfitaine. Marquage manuscrit au revers "Decorato a mano Vietri".
Diamètre 32cm pour 3cm d'épaisseur. Pas de crochet ou attache arrière, prévoir support adapté.Très bel état général, on notera cependant trois petits défauts d'émail de cuisson d'origine ainsi qu'un choc ancien sur le bord arrière ayant provoqué une double craquelure de surface visible au revers et légèrement visible sur le coté, sans incidence sur la solidité de l'ensemble. Quelques fines craquelures naturelles de l'émail sont également présentes, très discrète. Poids d'environ 2 kg.

Beautiful decorative wall plaque in Italian majolica from Vietri sul Mare, handcrafted and hand-painted, vintage from the 1950s-1970s. It depicts a large anthropomorphic sun with an expressive face, in luminous shades of yellow and orange with black details, typical of traditional Amalfi Coast production. Handwritten inscription on the reverse: "Decorato a mano Vietri" (Hand-painted in Vietri).
Diameter 32cm, thickness 3cm. No hook or back attachment; a suitable mounting bracket will be required. In very good overall condition, however, there are three small flaws in the original firing glaze and an old dent on the back edge that caused a double surface crack, visible on the reverse and slightly visible on the side, without affecting the overall sturdiness. A few fine, natural glaze cracks are also present, very discreet. Weight approximately 2 kg.
