Petit vase ancien slovaque de Pozdišov en terre cuite émaillée, années 1920-1930
Très joli petit vase boule en terre cuite émaillée, de fabrication artisanale traditionnelle slovaque, probablement de Pozdišovce, portant sous la base une marque ou signature incisée difficilement lisible, semblant former les lettres "AN". Ancien des années 1920-1930, époque Art déco. Belle forme ventrue à large col évasé, entièrement décorée à la main de bandes horizontales blanches, noires/marron foncé, vertes et grises sur fond brun, avec une frise centrale de motifs stylisés jaunes, bleus et verts. Travail fin et soigné.
16cm de haut et 16cm de diamètre max. Très bel état général. Rien de notable en dehors de deux micro-puces sous le pied, dont l’une légèrement placée sur le rebord extérieur, toutes deux très discrètes. Environ 700gr.

A lovely small, spherical glazed earthenware vase of traditional Slovak craftsmanship—likely from Pozdišovce—featuring an incised mark or signature on the base that is difficult to read but appears to form the letters "AN." It dates back to the 1920s or 1930s (Art Deco period). It has a beautiful bulbous shape with a wide, flared neck and is entirely hand-decorated with horizontal bands of white, dark brown/black, green, and gray against a brown background, featuring a central frieze of stylized yellow, blue, and green motifs. Fine, meticulous craftsmanship.
16 cm high with a maximum diameter of 16 cm. Excellent overall condition. Nothing of note aside from two tiny nicks on the underside of the foot—one slightly extending onto the outer edge—both of which are very inconspicuous. Weight: approximately 700 g.
