Petit sujet, lion, hyène, bête en Bronze du Bénin Dahomey Cotonou vintage

Très joli petit sujet en bronze artisanal Dahomey Cotonou, Bénin, Afrique. Statuette figurant un lion, hyène ou autre prédateur tenant une proie dans sa gueule, mouton, antilope.... Bronze doré patine foncée/brune. Très joli travail de détails. Vintage années 30-50. 16cm de longueur max, 10cm sans la queue, environ 4cm de largeur max pour environ 13cm de hauteur max tête. Très bel état général, une craquelure du métal bas d'une patte, discret et non fragilisant, quelques petits défauts de fabrication (petits trous, j'en ai vu 2). 500-700gr environ.

Very nice little bronze figure handcrafted in Dahomey Cotonou, Benin, Africa. Statuette representing a lion, hyena or other predator holding a prey in its mouth, sheep, antelope.... Gilded bronze with dark/brown patina. Very nice detailed work. Vintage/Old 30s-50s. 16cm max length, 10cm without the tail, about 4cm max width for about 13cm max head height. Very good general condition, a crack in the metal at the bottom of one leg, discreet and not weakening, some small manufacturing defects (small holes, I saw 2). Approximately 500-700gr.
