Petit médaillon mural en biscuit rococo bichrome jasperware ancien

Très joli médaillon mural décoratif, ancien fin XIXe début XXe, en biscuit bichrome type jasperware, probablement biscuit de Limoges, dans le goût de Schafer & Vater, Wedgwood et de ce style de productions néoclassiques. Fond vert mat et décor blanc en haut-relief représentant une scène romantique de l'amour tourmentant une jeune femme, encadrée d’un contour rocaille moulé. Travail soigné, pâte fine et numérotation moulée au revers et à l'arrière.
 
17,5 cm de hauteur max, 14,5 cm de largeur max et 1,5 cm d’épaisseur. Très bel état, aucun fêle ni éclat, quelques bulles et irrégularités d’origine au moulage, reliefs nets, bordure intacte. Belle présentation générale. Environ 150gr.

A very pretty decorative wall medallion, dating from the late 19th or early 20th century, made of two-tone jasperware-type biscuit porcelain, likely Limoges biscuit, in the style of Schafer & Vater, Wedgwood, and similar neoclassical productions. It features a matte green background and a white high-relief decoration depicting a romantic scene of love tormenting a young woman, framed by a molded rocaille border. The work is meticulous, with a fine paste and molded numbering on the reverse and back. 
 
Maximum height: 17.5 cm, maximum width: 14.5 cm, and thickness: 1.5 cm. In very good condition, with no cracks or chips, some original bubbles and irregularities from the molding process, crisp reliefs, and an intact border. Beautiful overall presentation. Approximately 150 grams.
