Joli petit canard en bois sculpté main, artisanat Indien, Rajasthan ou Cachemire, incrusté de cuivre et de plaques de laiton. Vintage années 50-70. Posture simple assis avec ailes repliées, plaquées de laiton doré, entourées et cuivre rose, 2 anneaux de cuivre ornementé autour du cou et oeil en cuivre et laiton également. Bec ouvert, habituellement fermé sur ce genre d'objets donc notifiable. Bois nuancé relativement foncé, patiné par le temps. 12,5cm de hauteur, 16cm de longueur max, environ 9cm de largeur. Bel état général, ailes présentant un cabossage naturel et harmonieux, un peu d'oxydation discrète. Environ 350gr.

Pretty little hand-carved wooden duck, Indian, Rajasthan or Kashmir craftsmanship, inlaid with copper and brass plates. Vintage 50s-70s. Simple sitting posture with folded wings, plated with gilded brass, surrounded by pink copper, 2 ornate copper rings around the neck and also copper and brass eye. Open beak, usually closed on this type of object so notifiable. Relatively dark shaded wood, patinated by time. 12.5cm high, 16cm max length, about 9cm wide. Good general condition, wings showing a natural and harmonious denting, a little discreet oxidation. About 350gr.
