Petit bas relief calcaire de fontaines pétrifiantes scène à l'antique vintage

Très joli petit bas relief carré, scène rare, calcaire des fontaines pétrifiantes de St Nectaire, vintage années 50-60. Plaque format carré, relief au centre, scène à l'antique, figurant une femme, prêtresse ou déesse semblant déposer des offrandes dans un chaudron, probablement divination ou prière. Couleur beige. 14x14cm, environ 1cm d'épaisseur au plat. Très joli décor, détaillé et fin. Ce type de format nécessite entre 7 et 10 mois de dépôt en fontaine pétrifiante. Très bel état général, quelques grignotages sur les rebords, notamment sur le haut, un éclat sur le bas, discret dans l'ensemble. Attache à l'arrière pour accrochage mural, il peut également être encadré. Environ 500gr.

A very pretty little square bas-relief, a rare scene, carved from limestone from the petrifying fountains of Saint-Nectaire, vintage 1950s-60s. Square plaque with a central relief depicting an antique-style scene of a woman, priestess or goddess, seemingly placing offerings in a cauldron, likely for divination or prayer. Beige in color. 14 x 14 cm, approximately 1 cm thick at the flat surface. A very attractive, detailed, and delicate decoration. This type of piece requires between 7 and 10 months of exposure in the petrifying fountain. In very good overall condition, with some minor chipping along the edges, particularly at the top, and a small, discreet chip at the bottom. It has a hanging loop on the back for wall mounting and can also be framed. Approximately 500g.
