Mortier et pilon d’apothicaire en bronze doré décor héraldique XXe

Charmant petit mortier d’apothicaire en bronze doré accompagné de son pilon, vintage XXe années 50-70, dans le goût des anciens mortiers pharmaceutiques. Forme évasée reposant sur une base circulaire, flanquée de deux prises latérales arrondies. La panse est ornée d’un médaillon en relief figurant un lion héraldique dans un écusson surmonté d’une couronne. Métal dorée avec un aspect craquelé, patiné. Le pilon assorti, en bronze également, est de forme élancée. 
 
Hauteur du mortier 8cm, largeur max 10 cm avec poignées, longueur du pilon 15cm. Bon état général, métal propre avec traces d’usage normales et patine naturelle légère. Environ 700gr.

Charming small gilt bronze apothecary's mortar and pestle, vintage 20th century (1950s-1970s), in the style of antique pharmaceutical mortars. It has a flared shape resting on a circular base, flanked by two rounded side handles. The body is adorned with a raised medallion depicting a heraldic lion within a shield surmounted by a crown. The gilt metal has a crackled, patinated appearance. The matching pestle, also in bronze, is slender in shape. 
 
Mortar height: 8 cm, maximum width: 10 cm including handles, pestle length: 15 cm. Good overall condition, clean metal with normal signs of use and a light, natural patina. Approximately 700 g.
