Masque mortuaire de Beethoven en plâtre, début XXe siècle
Curiosité, beau grand masque mortuaire mural représentant Ludwig van Beethoven, ancien, première moitié du XXe siècle années 1910-1930. Réalisé en plâtre creux avec système d’accroche d’origine au sommet. Le plâtre présente une belle patine ancienne dans des tons ivoire, beige et ocre, avec des traces d’humidité et de vieillissement qui renforcent son authenticité. L’intérieur semble avoir reçu un traitement teinté ancien et les rebords conservent des fibres de corde emprisonnées dans le plâtre, d’origine.
Hauteur 27,2cm, largeur 17cm, profondeur environ 15cm. Bel état général sans fêle ni éclat, il présente de nombreuses rayures plus ou moins profondes, plus ou moins visibles et plus ou moins anciennes, ensemble harmonieux. Environ 1kg.

A curious and beautiful large wall-mounted death mask depicting Ludwig van Beethoven, dating from the first half of the 20th century (1910-1930). Made of hollow plaster with its original hanging system at the top. The plaster has a lovely antique patina in ivory, beige, and ochre tones, with traces of dampness and age that enhance its authenticity. The interior appears to have received an old tinted treatment, and the edges retain original rope fibers embedded in the plaster.
Height 27.2 cm, width 17 cm, depth approximately 15 cm. In good overall condition with no cracks or chips, it displays numerous scratches of varying depths, visibility, and age, creating a harmonious whole. Approximately 1 kg.
