Masque Africain en Bronze vintage Bamoun, Cameroun

Beau masque en bronze artisanal Africain, Bamoun, Cameroun. Art ethnique. Technique de fonte à la cire perdue traditionnelle. Vocation décorative, murale ou à mettre sur socle, fabrication vintage années 60-80. Figurant un homme barbu souriant avec des yeux globuleux, roi couronné d'un visage et de 2 lézards entre autres motifs stylisés. Forme bombée. Bouche et narines creuses. Joli travail de détails, beau modèle bien fini. Dans les tons bronze, marron et doré, un peu d'oxydation bleutée et blanche.
 
26cm de hauteur, 22cm de largeur, 7cm de profondeur max. Très bel état, patine du temps un peu d'oxydation naturelle assez présente, bel aspect ancien. Environ 1,200kg.

Beautiful African handcrafted bronze mask, Bamoun, Cameroon. Ethnic art. Traditional lost wax casting technique. Decorative purpose, wall or to put on a base, vintage manufacture 60s-80s. Depicting a smiling bearded man with bulging eyes, a king crowned with a face and 2 lizards among other stylized motifs. Domed shape. Hollow mouth and nostrils. Nice detail work, beautiful well finished model. In bronze, brown and gold tones, some blue and white oxidation. 
 
26cm high, 22cm wide, 7cm deep max. Very good condition, patina of time, some natural oxidation quite present, beautiful old appearance. Approximately 1,200kg.
