Important cache-pot ancien en barbotine d'Onnaing "Citrouille" ancien fin XIXe
Grand cache-pot en barbotine de la faïencerie d'Onnaing, modèle "Citrouille" ancien, fin XIXe siècle, vers 1880-1900. Décor naturaliste en relief figurant une citrouille, entourée de larges feuilles de cucurbitacées, fleurs roses et branches entrelacées formant les poignées et le piètement ajouré. L'intérieur est revêtu d'un bel émail turquoise contrastant avec les teintes vertes, roses et ocre du décor extérieur. Modèle particulièrement décoratif et représentatif des productions naturalistes d'Onnaing de la fin du XIXe siècle.
Hauteur 22,5cm, diamètre max 21cm, largeur max avec poignées 25 à 26 cm, diamètre intérieur minimum 15,5cm. Bel état général compte tenu de l'âge. Présence d'un craquelage fin et homogène de l'émail, intérieur et extérieur, conforme à l'ancienneté de la pièce. On note trois manques au rebord respectivement 3cm, 2,8cm et 1cm, relativement discrets dans la présentation, une légère usure d'émail au niveau du piètement ainsi qu'un petit choc en étoile intérieur sur le bas, traversant mais discret et non fragilisant. Ensemble harmonieux présentant une très belle présence décorative. Environ 1,500-2 kg.

Large, antique "Pumpkin" earthenware cachepot from the Onnaing pottery, late 19th century, circa 1880-1900. The naturalistic relief decoration depicts a pumpkin surrounded by broad gourd leaves, pink flowers, and intertwined branches forming the handles and openwork base. The interior is lined with a beautiful turquoise glaze that contrasts with the green, pink, and ochre hues of the exterior decoration. This is a particularly decorative piece and representative of Onnaing's naturalistic productions of the late 19th century.
Height 22.5 cm, maximum diameter 21 cm, maximum width (including handles) 25-26 cm, minimum interior diameter 15.5 cm. In good overall condition considering its age. There is fine, even crazing of the glaze, both inside and out, consistent with the piece's age. There are three small chips on the rim, measuring 3cm, 2.8cm, and 1cm respectively, which are relatively discreet in their appearance. There is also slight wear to the enamel on the base and a small, subtle, star-shaped chip on the inside of the base, which penetrates through but does not weaken the piece. Overall, a harmonious piece with a very attractive decorative presence. Approximately 1.5-2 kg.
