Grande Ferrata artisanale bois et laiton fabrication traditionnelle vintage

Grande Ferrata vintage années 40–60, porte-faisselle traditionnelle, artisanat du Pays Basque ou de Gascogne, en bois de chêne massif cerclé de trois larges bandes de laiton ou cuivre doré riveté. Corps conique en bois, contrasté par les cerclages en laiton texturé et les rivets apparents. Deux grandes poignées latérales droites. Aspect rustique, vintage mid-century, très décoratif avec belle présence de par sa taille relativement importante, peut être utilisée en cache-pot, rangement, décoration de chalet ou vase pour plantes séchées ou plumes de paon.
 
27,5 cm de hauteur, 14 cm de diamètre d’ouverture, 26,5 cm de diamètre max à la base. Très bel état général, le métal et le bois sont très propres, le métal présente quelques petites rayures et taches d'oxydation discrètes mais il est brillant. Environ 2 kg.

Large vintage Ferrata from the 1940s-60s, a traditional cheese-making vessel, handcrafted in the Basque Country or Gascony, made of solid oak encircled by three wide bands of riveted brass or gilt copper. The conical wooden body contrasts with the textured brass bands and exposed rivets. Two large, straight side handles. Rustic, mid-century vintage style, very decorative with a striking presence due to its relatively large size. It can be used as a planter, storage container, chalet decoration, or vase for dried plants or peacock feathers. 
 
27.5 cm high, 14 cm diameter at the opening, 26.5 cm maximum diameter at the base. In very good overall condition; the metal and wood are very clean. The metal has a few small scratches and discreet oxidation spots but is otherwise bright. Approximately 2 kg.
