Grande coupe ajourée sur pied en métal argenté, orfèvrerie Dechamps Frères
Très belle grande coupe légèrement creuse sur piédouche en métal argenté, travail d’orfèvrerie Dechamps Frères, vintage du XXe siècle, circa 1930-1960. Belle forme circulaire à décor ajouré géométrique particulièrement raffiné sur l’aile et le pourtour. La pièce repose sur un piétement central assorti apportant une silhouette équilibrée et élégante. Elle porte deux poinçons carrés « 12GR » et « DF » accompagnés d’une tête de coq. Un modèle très similaire fut notamment édité pour la maison Dior ; il est possible que cette pièce soit issue de cette production ou d’un modèle proche, bien que la pastille centrale habituellement marquée ne soit pas présente ici.
29cm de diamètre pour 6,8cm de hauteur. Très bel état général de l’argenture, sans manque, on notera seulement quelques rayures discrètes sur le fond et le rebord, de légères traces de patine ainsi qu’un fin voile de micro-rayures superficielles liées au nettoyage. Poids environ 250-350gr.
🇬🇧 Large openwork bowl on a silver-plated metal stand, vintage metalwork
A very fine, large, slightly concave silver-plated bowl on a pedestal base, a piece by Dechamps Frères silversmiths, dating from the 20th century, circa 1930-1960. It has a beautiful circular shape with a particularly refined geometric openwork design on the rim and band. The piece rests on a matching central base, creating a balanced and elegant silhouette. It bears two square hallmarks, "12GR" and "DF," accompanied by a rooster's head. A very similar model was notably produced for Dior; it is possible that this piece comes from that production or a similar model, although the usually prominent central hallmark is not present.
29 cm in diameter and 6.8 cm in height. The silver plating is in very good overall condition, with no missing pieces. There are only a few discreet scratches on the base and rim, slight traces of patina, and a fine veil of superficial micro-scratches from cleaning. Weight approximately 250-350 grams.
