Grand vase moderniste en céramique d'art émaillée noire vintage années 50-70
Imposant vase en céramique, artisanat d'art, émaillée vintage, des années 1950-1970, signature à identifier sous la base "LD" "ID", probablement issu d’un atelier Européen, dans un esprit moderniste évoquant certaines productions belge, italienne ou françaises de la seconde moitié du XXe siècle. Forme ovoïde allongée, reposant sur un petit pied circulaire surélevé. Remarquable décor architectural composé de quatre larges bandes verticales alternées. Deux faces sont recouvertes d’un émail noir métallisé profond tandis que les deux autres sont structurées par un réseau de reliefs géométriques évoquant un vitrail ou une mosaïque, rehaussé d’émaux rouge sang, bleu glacier et jaune pâle avec quelques nuances de vert. L’ensemble offre une présence décorative spectaculaire et témoigne d’une réelle maîtrise technique dans le travail des émaux et des reliefs. Très belle pièce unique.
Hauteur 36,5 cm, diamètre maximal environ 18 à 19 cm. Très bel état général, aucun défaut notable à l’extérieur ; seuls quelques petits défauts d’émail sont visibles à l’intérieur. Par précaution, je déconseille son utilisation avec de l’eau. Le vase est parfaitement stable mais son pied relativement étroit associé à son poids important invite à le placer sur un support sûr et peu exposé aux chocs. Poids environ 4 à 5 kg.

An imposing ceramic vase, a work of art, with a vintage glaze, dating from the 1950s-1970s. The signature, "LD" or "ID," is to be identified on the base. Likely from a European workshop, it reflects a modernist style reminiscent of certain Belgian, Italian, or French pieces from the second half of the 20th century. The vase has an elongated ovoid shape and rests on a small, raised circular foot. It features a remarkable architectural decoration composed of four wide, alternating vertical bands. Two sides are covered with a deep, metallic black glaze, while the other two are structured by a network of geometric reliefs evoking stained glass or a mosaic, enhanced with glazes of blood red, glacier blue, and pale yellow with hints of green. The overall effect is a spectacular decorative presence and demonstrates true technical mastery in the glaze and relief work. A truly beautiful and unique piece.
Height 36.5 cm, maximum diameter approximately 18-19 cm. In very good overall condition, with no significant flaws on the exterior. Only a few minor enamel flaws are visible on the inside. As a precaution, I advise against using it with water. The vase is perfectly stable, but its relatively narrow base combined with its considerable weight suggests placing it on a secure surface that is not easily damaged. Weight approximately 4 to 5 kg.
