Grand vase/jarre Marocaine Fès céramique artisanale Khabia XIX-XXe cobalt

Magnifique et peu courant, grand vase ou jarre sans couvercle, Khabia, céramique/faïence artisanale, peinte à la main Maroc, Fès. Ancien fin XIXe début XXe. Forme haute pied et bas du corps resserré, haut arrondi en globe, goulot court et resserré. Faïence blanche, peinte à la main de motifs traditionnels géométriques et floraux, stylisés, très fins, monochrome bleu cobalt. Magnifique travail de détails. 31cm de hauteur, environ 17cm de diamètre max, 10cm au goulot et minimum. Très bel état, 4 défauts au goulot, possiblement d'origine (support de cuisson peut-être) un peu visibles. quelques défauts de fabrication, tâches, bulles, et quelques petites usures discrètes à la base du pied. Environ 2,500-3kg.

Magnificent and unusual, large vase or jar without lid, Khabia, ceramic/earthenware, hand-painted Morocco, Fez. Antique late 19th early 20th century. High shape with narrow foot and lower body, rounded globe top, short and narrow neck. White earthenware, hand-painted with traditional geometric and floral motifs, stylized, very fine, monochrome cobalt blue. Magnificent detailed work. 31cm high, approximately 17cm in diameter max, 10cm at the neck and minimum. Very good condition, 4 defects at the neck, possibly original (firing support perhaps) a little visible. Some manufacturing defects, stains, bubbles, and some small discreet wear at the base of the foot. Approximately 2,500-3kg.
