Magnifique et unique, imposant vase bonbonne Italien artisanale vintage des années 60-80, dans le goût des majoliques Italienne d'époque. Forme de bouteille carrée arrondie, massive, avec gros goulot cylindrique resserré sur le haut. Céramique à glaçage blanc, décorée main à l'avant d'une superbe scène colorée 2 oiseaux au plumages bleu, vert, jaune, turquoise, violet, orange... dans un citronnier, branches feuillues, fleuries et portant des fruits. Signé “Urbau” en bas à droite. Le décor, par son énergie et sa palette vive, s’inscrit pleinement dans l’esprit des créations de Romano Innocenti : une œuvre à la croisée de la majolique traditionnelle et du modernisme italien des années 60. Possiblement issu de l’atelier d’un élève ou d’un collaborateur d’Innocenti, ou d’un atelier régional inspiré de son style florentin, le style est extrêmement proche. 33,5cm de hauteur totale, environ 20cm de coté au plus large. Parfait état rien de notable en dehors de quelques craquelures naturelles de la faïence, très discrètes. Environ 3-4kg.

Magnificent and unique, this imposing vintage Italian handcrafted demijohn vase dates from the 1960s-1980s, in the style of period Italian majolica. It has a rounded, square bottle shape and a massive, cylindrical neck that narrows at the top. The white-glazed ceramic is hand-decorated on the front with a superb, colorful scene of two birds with blue, green, yellow, turquoise, purple, and orange plumage in a lemon tree with leafy, flowering, and fruit-bearing branches. Signed “Urbau” in the lower right corner. The decoration, with its energy and vibrant palette, perfectly embodies the spirit of Romano Innocenti's creations: a work at the crossroads of traditional majolica and 1960s Italian modernism. Possibly from the workshop of a student or collaborator of Innocenti, or from a regional workshop inspired by his Florentine style, the style is remarkably similar. It measures 33.5 cm in total height and approximately 20 cm at its widest point. In perfect condition, nothing noteworthy apart from a few very discreet natural cracks in the earthenware. Approximately 3-4 kg.
