Grand tableau ancien aux pivoines, signé E. Jacque, fin XIXe début XXe

Très beau grand tableau ancien à l’huile sur toile représentant des pivoines roses en fleurs et boutons dans un style naturaliste délicat proche de l’illustration botanique. Signé en bas à droite E. Jacque, travail français fin XIXe début XXe. La toile est présentée dans un cadre bois et stuc d’origine, noir et doré, entièrement restauré, consolidé, repeint et vernis; les reliefs présentent encore quelques craquelures stabilisées qui ajoutent du caractère à l’ensemble.
 
Cadre 64x40,5x3cm, toile 55x33cm environ. Très bon état général, cadre ancien en bois et stuc noir à décors dorés, entièrement repris : moulures externes refaites à la main un peu visibles mais aspect propre et complet, repeint et verni, fissures de stucs visibles mais stables. Vernis du tableau légèrement assombri mais toile propre. Environ 1,5-2 kg.

A very beautiful, large antique oil painting on canvas depicting pink peonies in bloom and bud in a delicate, naturalistic style reminiscent of botanical illustration. Signed lower right E. Jacque, French work, late 19th/early 20th century. The canvas is presented in its original black and gold wood and stucco frame, fully restored, reinforced, repainted, and varnished; the reliefs still show some stabilized craquelure that adds character to the whole. 
 
Frame 64 x 40.5 x 3 cm, canvas approximately 55 x 33 cm. Very good overall condition. Antique wood and black stucco frame with gilt decoration, fully restored: external moldings remade by hand, slightly visible but otherwise clean and complete, repainted and varnished, stucco fissures visible but stable. The painting's varnish is slightly darkened, but the canvas is clean. Approximately 1.5-2 kg.
