Grand pichet à bière en grès émaillé au sel et étain Allemagne type Westerwald

Superbe grand pichet à bien en grès artisanal émaillé au sel, fabrication Allemande type Westerwald ou Alsacienne Betschdorf, non signé, ancien début XXe, inscription dans le couvercle, gravé à la main 1914 probablement date de fabrication ou d'acquisition. Jolie forme balustre, grand goulot cylindrique large, petite poignée élégante. Fermé par un couvercle articulé en étain gris Joliment travaillé. Corps décoré de reliefs floraux, végétaux, frises et motifs géométriques, très détaillés, fond gris bleu clair et détails bleu cobalt. Très bel objet décoratif, collection ou usage de table. 38,5cm de hauteur max avec couvercle, environ 16cm de diamètre. Très bel état, un peu de dépot/oxydation sur le métal du couvercle mais l'ensemble est impeccable, léger dépôt dans les reliefs et sur la base du couvercle sur le haut de la poignée. Environ 1,2kg.

Superb large salt-glazed stoneware well pitcher, German Westerwald or Alsatian Betschdorf type, unsigned, early 20th century, inscription in the lid, hand-engraved 1914 probably date of manufacture or acquisition. Pretty baluster shape, large wide cylindrical neck, small elegant handle. Closed by a hinged lid in gray pewter. Beautifully worked. Body decorated with floral and plant reliefs, friezes and geometric patterns, very detailed, light blue gray background and cobalt blue details. Very beautiful decorative object, collection or table use. 38.5cm max height with lid, approximately 16cm diameter. Very good condition, a little deposit/oxidation on the metal of the lid but the whole is impeccable, slight deposit in the reliefs and on the base of the lid on the top of the handle. Approximately 1.2kg.
