Très beau grand miroir soleil vintage en bois sculpté et stuc doré à la feuille d'or, travail artisanal de la seconde moitié du XXe siècle, années 1970-1980. Magnifique encadrement rayonnant alternant de longues flammes courbes et de petites pointes autour d’un miroir circulaire central. L’arrière est peint en noir et le miroir est maintenu par une fine plaque de carton pointée.
60,5cm de diamètre max pour le cadre et 20cm de diamètre pour le miroir seul. Bel état général, avec quelques traces de frottement, de légères dédorures, de petites usures sur certaines pointes et diverses marques discrètes, l’ensemble reste très harmonieux. Miroir propre, plaque de carton arrière gondolée mais bien maintenue et sans incidence. Environ 1kg.

A beautiful, large vintage sunburst mirror featuring a frame of carved wood and gold-leaf-gilded stucco; a handcrafted piece from the second half of the 20th century (1970s–1980s). It boasts a magnificent radiating frame that alternates long, curved rays with smaller points, surrounding a central circular mirror. The back is painted black, and the mirror is secured by a thin cardboard backing held in place by small nails.
Maximum frame diameter: 60.5 cm; mirror diameter: 20 cm. Good overall condition, showing some signs of rubbing, slight loss of gilding, minor wear on some of the points, and various discreet marks; the piece remains very harmonious. The mirror glass is clean; the cardboard backing is slightly warped but securely held in place, with no impact on the mirror itself. Weight: approximately 1 kg.
