Grand bougeoir creux en terre cuite émaillée Tamegroute, Maroc, production relativement vintage du début des années. Silhouette élancée en forme de vis, sculpturale, sublimée par un magnifique émail nuancé de verts profonds, de brun et de noir, aux coulures et irrégularités caractéristiques de ce type d'artisanat. Façonné à la main, issu du savoir-faire traditionnel des potiers de la vallée du Drâa.
Environ 14-15 cm de diamètre max à la base, 55,5cm de haut. 5cm de diamètre ouverture supérieure. Très bel état général, avec un petit éclat discret sur le bas d'un côté et un légèrement plus important un peu plus haut, discret également, ainsi que quelques éclats sous le pied d'origine et invisibles. On note également un léger mouchetage blanc d'origine sur un côté, ainsi que les irrégularités de cuisson et d'émaillage propres à cette production artisanale. 5kg.

Large, hollow glazed terracotta candlestick from Tamegroute, Morocco; a relatively vintage piece from the early years of this style's production. It features a slender, sculptural, screw-like silhouette, enhanced by a magnificent glaze with shades of deep green, brown, and black, displaying the characteristic drips and irregularities of this type of craftsmanship. Handmade, it reflects the traditional expertise of potters from the Drâa Valley.
Approximately 14–15 cm maximum diameter at the base, 55.5 cm high; 5 cm diameter at the top opening. In very good overall condition, with a small, inconspicuous chip near the bottom on one side and a slightly larger—though still subtle—chip a bit higher up, as well as a few chips under the base that are invisible when displayed. There is also some slight, original white speckling on one side, along with the firing and glazing irregularities typical of this artisanal production. Weight: approximately 5 kg.
