Fontaine à absinthe vintage verre/cristal moulé alexandrite et métal doré
Rare, très belle fontaine à absinthe, élégante, vintage années 60-80, probablement de fabrication Tchèque. Réservoir en verre ou cristal alexandrite, violet rose à la lumière naturelle et violet bleu à la lumière artificielle, moulé en nid d'abeilles arrondi, rare pour ce type d'objets souvent fabriqués en verre incolore. Sur pied haut à balustres et cannelures, couvercle et joli robinet en métal doré. 40cm de hauteur totale avec couvercle, 34,5cm sans, 12-13cm de diamètre max au pied, réservoir 18cm de hauteur par 11-12cm de diamètre max, bonne contenance. Bel état d'usage, l'intérieur du couvercle et le rebord intérieur en métal doré présentent de l'oxydation, relativement importante dans le couvercle, le métal extérieur, couvercle pied et robinet, comportent une légère dédorure, asses discrète, le bas du réservoir, au dessus du robinet est marqué d'un anneau calcaire légèrement visible. Base du pied présentant quelques défauts. Le joint du robinet est un peu cuit, ce dernier tourne légèrement et ne doit plus être étanche de plus l’intérieur est bouché, cet objet nécessite donc une révision pour utilisation alimentaire ou conservera un bel attrait uniquement décoratif ou de collection. Environ 800gr.

Rare and very beautiful absinthe fountain, elegant, vintage 1960s-80s, likely of Czech manufacture. The reservoir is made of glass or alexandrite crystal, pinkish-purple in natural light and bluish-purple in artificial light, molded in a rounded honeycomb pattern, a rare feature for this type of object, which is often made of colorless glass. It stands on a tall, balustered, fluted base with a lid and attractive gilt metal tap. The total height is 40cm with the lid, 34.5cm without, and the maximum diameter at the base is 12-13cm. The reservoir is 18cm high by 11-12cm in diameter, offering a good capacity. It is in good used condition. The inside of the lid and the inner rim of the gilt metal show some oxidation, relatively significant on the lid. The exterior metal of the lid, base, and tap has slight, rather discreet, wear to the gilding. The bottom of the reservoir, above the tap, has a slightly visible limescale ring. The base of the stand has some minor imperfections. The tap seal is slightly worn; it rotates a little and is no longer watertight. Furthermore, the inside is clogged. This item therefore requires servicing before it can be used for food preparation or as a purely decorative or collectible item. Approximately 800g.
