Cruche en grès émaillé vert à la cendre Puisaye fin XIXe début XXe
Très belle grande cruche à eau, gargoulette ou cruche à huile de noix, en grès tournée, artisanat français de Puisaye fin du XIXe siècle - début du XXe siècle, présentant une forme généreuse à trois anses avec petit bec verseur. Email à la cendre aux nuances vert kaki clair coulant sur fond de grès gris clair, production traditionnelle au four à bois, avec un rendu proche de certains grès japonais de type Iga. Marque X en incision sous la base.
Hauteur max à l'anse supérieure 34cm, largeur max aux anses 23cm, diamètre max 19cm environ. Très bel état général compte tenu de l’âge, à signaler un léger grignotage au bec verseur, un cheveu ancien à l’intérieur avec légère visibilité extérieure sur environ 10 cm sans fragilité, ainsi que de petits manques d’émail discrets à la base. Présence de quatre tampons sous le dessous, ajouts récents.

A very beautiful large stoneware water jug, gargoulette, or walnut oil jug, made by hand in Puisaye, France, late 19th - early 20th century. It has a generous shape with three handles and a small spout. The glaze, made with ash in shades of light khaki green, flows over a light gray stoneware background. It was produced using traditional wood-fired techniques, with a finish similar to some Japanese Iga stoneware. An "X" is incised on the base.
Maximum height to the top handle: 34 cm, maximum width to the handles: 23 cm, maximum diameter: approximately 19 cm. In very good overall condition considering its age, with some minor chipping to the spout, an old hairline crack inside (slightly visible on the outside for about 10 cm without causing any damage), and some small, discreet losses to the glaze on the base. Four stamps are present on the underside, indicating recent additions.
