Belle croix de San Damiano en bois sculpté en relief, art religieux franciscain, inspirée du célèbre crucifix associé à saint François d'Assise. Vintage, circa années 1960-1980, travail Européen ou Slave. Belle interprétation artisanale sculptée main, représentant le Christ entouré de différents personnages bibliques et religieux, avec une scène de l'Ascension dans la partie supérieure. Bois joliment veiné, dans des nuances naturelles allant du brun clair au brun foncé. Attache murale au dos.
 
31,5cm de haut, 22cm de large et environ 2cm d'épaisseur. Très bel état, rien de notable. Environ 350gr.

A fine, hand-carved artisanal piece depicting Christ surrounded by various biblical and religious figures, featuring a scene of the Ascension at the top. Beautifully grained wood in natural shades ranging from light to dark brown. Wall mount on the back.
