Bénitier en biscuit fin de porcelaine 2 anges ancien 1900-1930 Allemagne
Magnifique et rare bénitier mural ancien début XXe 1900-1930, en biscuit de porcelaine blanche. Style baroque. Fabrication Allemande de très belle qualité, marqué Germany au revers avec un monogramme peint bleu évoquant les productions d’inspiration Meissen du début XXe siècle. Modèle assez rare figurant deux anges en haut relief tenant une grande coquille de bénitier, émaillée à l’intérieur pour recevoir l’eau bénite. Biscuit très fin, translucide à la lumière, drapés délicats, visages doux et ailes finement détaillées, remarquable finesse d’exécution.
20 cm de hauteur, 14 cm de largeur et 8 cm de profondeur. Bel état général, quelques manques à signaler doigts de la main droite manquants et manque/éclat sur le dessus des orteils du pied arrière de l’ange de droite, et éclat sur orteils du pied avant de l’ange gauche également. Défauts relativement discrets, reste de la pièce impeccable. Aucun fêle, aucun collage, coquille intacte. Environ 650-700gr.

Magnificent and rare antique wall-mounted holy water font, early 20th century (1900-1930), made of white porcelain biscuit. Baroque style. A very high-quality German manufacture, marked "Germany" on the reverse with a painted blue monogram reminiscent of Meissen-inspired pieces from the early 20th century. This rather rare model features two angels in high relief holding a large, glazed shell-shaped holy water font, glazed on the inside to hold the holy water. The biscuit porcelain is very fine, translucent in the light, with delicate drapery, gentle faces, and finely detailed wings—a remarkable display of exquisite craftsmanship.
20 cm high, 14 cm wide, and 8 cm deep. In good overall condition, with a few minor losses: a few fingers on the right hand are missing, and there is a chip on the top of the toes on the back foot of the right angel, as well as a chip on the toes of the front foot of the left angel. These are relatively discreet flaws; the rest of the piece is impeccable. No cracks, no repairs, and the shell is intact. Approximately 650-700 grams.
