Ravissant buste de Sainte Vierge en terre cuite creuse, signé J. Rhul sur l'épaule gauche, inscription Terre Cuite d'Art à l'arrière, numéro au crayon de bois à l'intérieur peut être une ancienne référence de brocante, ou numérotation d'atelier de création. Fabrication française artisanat d'art vintage du milieu du XXᵉ siècle, années 1950–1960. Sculpture religieuse au style sobre et apaisé, visage délicat au regard baissé, modelé doux et drapé dans un style Art Déco. Terre cuite mate dépatinée, zones toujours éclaircies dans les creux.
24 cm de hauteur, 19 cm de largeur, 12 cm de profondeur environ. Très bel état en cohérence avec son âge, petit éclat très discret sur le bout du nez, quelques petites traces noires et un trace de graisse à l'arrière, usure de surface et zones avec reste de patine plus claires, zones avec une texture irrégulière, défauts discrets dans l'ensemble. Pas de fêles, pas de restauration, pas de manques. Environ 800-900gr.

Charming hollow terracotta bust of the Virgin Mary, signed J. Rhul on the left shoulder, inscribed "Terre Cuite d'Art" on the back, number in pencil inside (possibly an old antique find or workshop number). French vintage art piece from the mid-20th century, circa 1950-1960. A religious sculpture in a simple and serene style, with a delicate face and a downcast gaze, softly modeled and draped in an Art Deco style. The matte terracotta has lost its patina, with areas still lightened in the hollows.
Approximately 24 cm high, 19 cm wide, and 12 cm deep. In very good condition consistent with its age, with a very discreet chip on the tip of the nose, a few small black marks and a grease stain on the back, some surface wear and areas with lighter patina, and areas with an irregular texture. Overall, there are minor flaws. No cracks, no restoration, and no missing pieces. Approximately 800-900g.
