Boîte vintage marocaine en pierre fossilifère, ammonite et orthocères

Très jolie boîte carrée en pierre fossilifère noire du Maroc, ornée de nombreux fossiles naturels visibles dans la masse, notamment des orthocères et une grande ammonite/goniatite polie en relief sur le couvercle. Vintage, années 1980-2000. Forme carrée à couvercle amovible, la pierre sombre présentant de très beaux contrastes blancs, gris et bruns ainsi que plusieurs fossiles visibles sur les côtés.
 
9,3cm de côté, 5cm de haut. Très bon état général, avec quelques discrètes traces du temps : micro-éclats sur le rebord inférieur du couvercle et le haut de la boîte, ainsi que deux petits éclats légèrement plus marqués mais peu visibles dans l'ensemble. Environ 800-900gr.

A very lovely square box made of black fossiliferous stone from Morocco, featuring numerous natural fossils visible within the material—notably orthoceras and a large, polished ammonite/goniatite in relief on the lid. Vintage (dating from the 1980s–2000s). Square shape with a removable lid; the dark stone displays beautiful white, gray, and brown contrasts, along with several visible fossils on the sides. 
 
Measures 9.3 cm per side and 5 cm in height. Very good overall condition, with some subtle signs of age: tiny nicks on the lower rim of the lid and the top edge of the box, as well as two slightly more noticeable—though overall inconspicuous—small chips. Weight: approximately 800–900 g.
