Bougeoir à main en métal argenté, style Louis XVI, France vers 1880-1910

Joli bougeoir à main en métal argenté de style Louis XVI, France fin XIXe début XXe, circa 1880-1910. Fût cannelé, base à décor de feuilles d’acanthe, dans un goût néoclassique. La coupelle repose sur trois petits pieds boules, avec élégante petite anse à doigt. Poinçon carré "M" frappé dans la coupelle.
 
12,5cm de diamètre, 8cm de hauteur, ouverture 2cm de diamètre. Bel état général avec traces d’usage, fines rayures de surface dues au nettoyage, et une rayure plus marquée à l’intérieur de la coupelle, discrète néanmoins. Environ 140gr.

A lovely silver-plated metal hand candlestick in the Louis XVI style, France, late 19th/early 20th century, circa 1880-1910. The fluted stem and base are decorated with acanthus leaves in a neoclassical style. The cup rests on three small ball feet and features an elegant finger handle. A square "M" hallmark is stamped into the cup. 
 
12.5 cm in diameter, 8 cm high, opening 2 cm in diameter. In good overall condition with signs of use, including fine surface scratches from cleaning and a more pronounced, though discreet, scratch on the inside of the cup. Approximately 140 grams.
