Bougeoir vintage Poteries Maine Sars-Poteries, années 1950-1970

Beau grand bougeoir à main en céramique d’art des Poteries Maine à Sars-Poteries, signé sur deux côtés de la base. Vintage des années 1950-1970. Belle forme sculpturale à large base évasée, anse généreuse et haut col renflé terminé par une ouverture en trompette. Très bel émail noir lustré animé de coulures vertes et turquoise pâle descendant irrégulièrement sur la base. Un petit trou de fabrication est présent près de la base de l’anse, l’objet ne peut pas contenir d'eau.

19,7cm de haut, environ 15cm de largeur max avec l’anse, 12cm de diamètre max à la base. Très bel état général, avec une zone d’émail manquante sur un côté de la base, probablement liée à un frottement ou ancien ponçage, ainsi qu’un petit défaut de cuisson sur le bas de l’anse, tous deux discrets. Environ 700gr.

A fine, large art-ceramic hand-held candlestick from Poteries Maine in Sars-Poteries, signed on two sides of the base. Vintage piece dating from the 1950s–1970s. It features a beautiful sculptural form with a wide, flared base, a generous handle, and a tall, bulbous neck ending in a trumpet-shaped opening. It boasts a stunning glossy black glaze accented by green and pale turquoise drips running irregularly down to the base. There is a small manufacturing hole near the base of the handle; the piece cannot hold water.

Height: 19.7 cm; max. width (including handle): approx. 15 cm; max. base diameter: 12 cm. Very good overall condition, with an area of ​​missing glaze on one side of the base—likely due to rubbing or past sanding—and a small firing flaw at the bottom of the handle; both are inconspicuous. Weight: approx. 700 g.
