Bonbonnière albâtre blanc et bronze style Empire, circa 1900-1930

Belle bonbonnière ancienne en albâtre blanc montée sur bronze doré, dans le style Empire, années 1900-1930. Le corps présente une forme ronde posé sur un socle carré, ornée d’un décor de frises perlées et de feuilles stylisées à la base, et surmonté d’un couvercle doté d’un bouton en forme de gland.
 
Environ 18,5cm de hauteur totale pour 15cm de diamètre maximal. Bon état général, on notera quelques vestiges discrets de l'ancien vernis jauni, retiré puis reverni avec un vernis transparent, un cerclage légèrement déformé, une usure de la dorure par endroits et une petite écaille sur le bord du couvercle assez discret. Environ 1,500kg.

A beautiful antique bonbonnière in white alabaster mounted on gilt bronze, in the Empire style, circa 1900-1930. The round body rests on a square base, decorated with beaded friezes and stylized leaves at the base, and is surmounted by a lid with an acorn-shaped knob. 
 
Approximately 18.5 cm in total height and 15 cm in maximum diameter. In good overall condition, with some discreet traces of the old yellowed varnish, which has been removed and then revarnished with a clear varnish, a slightly deformed rim, some wear to the gilding in places, and a small, discreet chip on the edge of the lid. Approximately 1.5 kg.
