Boite/pot tripode style scandinave bois tourné artisanat Space Age Mid-Century

Charmante et très décorative, petite boite ou pot en bois couvert, tournée main, artisanat Européen, probablement français, ébéniste anonyme car non signé. Bois massif probablement hêtre teinté miel foncé, vernis laissant apparaître le veinage du bois. Style Scandinave / Space Age, production Mid-Century années 60-70 au design typique et marqué. Corps globulaire monté sur 3 pieds en gouttes inversées, col cylindrique court orné de 2 petites poignées fines anguleuses et surmonté d'un joli couvercle. Finitions très propre, travail fin de qualité, solide. Corps et couvercle décorés de rainures horizontales soulignant les formes. 20cm de hauteur totale, 13cm de largeur max avec anses, environ 10cm de diamètre max. Très bel état, quelques petites marques d'usage très discrètes, notamment petite marque blanche sur le couvercle, petit accroc à la base d'une des anses et rares petites rayures superficielles. Environ 350gr.

Charming and very decorative, small covered wooden box or pot, hand-turned, European craftsmanship, probably French, anonymous cabinetmaker as it is not signed. Solid wood probably dark honey stained beech, varnish revealing the wood grain. Scandinavian / Space Age style, Mid-Century production from the 60s-70s with a typical and marked design. Globular body mounted on 3 inverted drop feet, short cylindrical neck decorated with 2 small thin angular handles and topped with a pretty lid. Very clean finishes, fine quality work, solid. Body and lid decorated with horizontal grooves emphasizing the shapes. 20cm total height, 13cm max width with handles, approximately 10cm max diameter. Very good condition, some very discreet small marks of use, including a small white mark on the lid, a small tear at the base of one of the handles and rare small superficial scratches. Approximately 350gr.
