Bison Zsolnay en faïence émaillée turquoise, Hongrie, XXe siècle années 40-50

Superbe bison en faïence émaillée de la manufacture Zsolnay à Pécs, Hongrie, vintage années 1940-1950. Modèle emblématique de la manufacture hongroise, non signé mais bien répertorié et toujours produit par Zsolnay dans sa version à glaçure eosin. Cet exemplaire présente une élégante glaçure turquoise brillante aux nuances profondes, plus rare que les traditionnelles versions vert pétrole ou eosine.
 
Longueur 23 cm, hauteur maximale 15,5 cm, largeur maximale environ 7 cm. Bel état général. À signaler trois cheveux, possiblement superficiels et limités à la glaçure : l'un au niveau de l'encolure et de la joue, ainsi qu'un sur chacun des flancs, celui situé du même côté que le cheveu de l'encolure étant plus léger. Ces défauts n'affectent pas la structure de la faïence et demeurent relativement discrets visuellement. Environ 500-600gr.

Superb glazed earthenware bison from the Zsolnay factory in Pécs, Hungary, dating from the 1940s-1950s. An iconic model from the Hungarian factory, unsigned but well-documented and still produced by Zsolnay in its eosin glaze version. This example features an elegant, glossy turquoise glaze with deep nuances, rarer than the traditional petrol green or eosin versions. 
 
Length 23 cm, maximum height 15.5 cm, maximum width approximately 7 cm. Good overall condition. Three hairlines are present, possibly superficial and limited to the glaze: one on the neck and cheek, and one on each flank, the one on the same side as the neck hairline being lighter. These do not affect the earthenware's structure and remain relatively discreet visually. Approximately 500-600g.
