Assiette barbotine crabe trompe-l’œil Caldas da Rainha Portugal vintage

Belle assiette en faïence barbotine à décor en relief représentant une araignée de mer en trompe-l’œil, production de Caldas da Rainha au Portugal, travail vintage du milieu du XXe siècle, années 60-70. Décor très expressif et naturaliste avec coquillages, algues et fond texturé, dans une polychromie riche typique de cette manufacture, dans l’esprit des productions de Bordallo Pinheiro.
 
Diamètre 25cm, hauteur environ 7cm. Très bel état général, à signaler, un discret éclat à l'arrière, pas visible de face. Environ 1,5kg.

A beautiful majolica (barbotine) earthenware plate featuring a relief design of a spider crab in *trompe-l’œil* style. Produced in Caldas da Rainha, Portugal, this is a vintage piece from the mid-20th century (1960s–70s). It boasts a highly expressive, naturalistic design complete with seashells, seaweed, and a textured background rendered in the rich polychrome palette characteristic of this manufactory, in the spirit of Bordallo Pinheiro’s work. 
 
Diameter: 25 cm; height: approx. 7 cm. Very good overall condition; note a discreet chip on the back, not visible from the front. Weight: approx. 1.5 kg.
