Ancien pot à biscuits style cristal taillé et métal

Très beau pot à biscuits, style art nouveau tardif/art déco en cristal taillé, ancien fin XIXe - début XXe siècle, cristal de bohème ou maison Val St Lambert, non signé. Forme haute, ventru, le haut du bocal est lisse, le bas est taillé, ciselé, de motifs géométriques, losanges, étoiles... Cerclage au sommet, ne métal doré, probablement laiton, décoré d'une fine frise de petites feuilles, 2 ornements de part et d'autres, coquillage stylisé visiblement en étain. Couvercle en cuivre repoussé, motif en godrons rayonnants et le petit bouton central en métal argenté, à décor géométrique floral. 17cm de hauteur max avec couvercle, 15cm sans, 14-15cm de diamètre max au plus large, 11cm de diamètre au goulot. Très bel état général aux vues de son age, quelques micros éclats sur les arrêtes de taille du cristal, très discrets, rayures sous la base, naturel et non gênant. Intérieur du couvercle déformé, pas gênant, aspect du métal propre mais usé au niveau du couvercle, probablement pas couvercle d'origine mais joli. Charnières en forme de coquillages cassées sur le haut en lien avec un probable échange de couvercle. Bel objet décoratif quoi qu'il en soit. Environ 700-800gr. 

🇬🇧 Antique cut crystal and metal cookie jar

Very beautiful biscuit jar, late art nouveau/art deco style in cut crystal, old late 19th - early 20th century, Bohemian crystal or Val St Lambert house, unsigned. Tall, pot-bellied shape, the top of the jar is smooth, the bottom is cut, chiseled, with geometric patterns, diamonds, stars... Rim at the top, gilded metal, probably brass, decorated with a fine frieze of small leaves, 2 ornaments on either side, stylized shell visibly in pewter. Lid in embossed copper, radiating gadroon pattern and the small central button in silver metal, with geometric floral decoration. 17cm maximum height with lid, 15cm without, 14-15cm maximum diameter at the widest, 11cm diameter at the neck. Very good general condition considering its age, some micro chips on the edges of the crystal cut, very discreet, scratches under the base, natural and not disturbing. The inside of the lid is deformed, but not annoying. The metal is clean but worn at the lid. Probably not the original lid, but it looks nice. The shell-shaped hinges are broken at the top, possibly due to a lid swap. A nice decorative item regardless. Approximately 700-800g.
