Ancien portrait de jeune femme de profil, huile sur toile A.Piard XIXe

Charmant portrait ancien de jeune femme de profil, huile sur toile, école française circa 1860-1890 et signé A. Piard en bas à gauche. La composition s’inspire des modèles historicistes de la fin du XIXᵉ siècle, avec un fond sombre contrastant le visage clair, les cheveux relevés ornés de perles et un pendentif à cabochon vert soulignant l’allure délicate du modèle.
 
Format portrait, toile 40,5x32,5 cm, cadre 52x44 cm pour 5,5 cm d’épaisseur. Bel état pour son age, cependant la toile présente un réseau de craquelures naturelles. On notera une trace visible en partie supérieure de la tête. Vernis récent, brillant. Le cadre d’origine en bois et stuc doré a été réparé, repeint et solidifié, travail maison propre. Environ 1,600kg.

Charming antique portrait of a young woman in profile, oil on canvas, French school circa 1860-1890, signed A. Piard lower left. The composition is inspired by late 19th-century historicist models, with a dark background contrasting the light face, the updo adorned with pearls, and a green cabochon pendant highlighting the sitter's delicate appearance. 
 
Portrait format, canvas 40.5 x 32.5 cm, frame 52 x 44 cm, 5.5 cm thick. In good condition for its age, however, the canvas shows a network of natural craquelure. A mark is visible in the upper part of the head. Recently varnished, glossy finish. The original wood and gilt stucco frame has been repaired, repainted, and reinforced,  clean, handcrafted job. Approximately 1.6 kg.
