Rare, superbe ornement/fourreau de pipe cérémonielle Bamoun/Bamun, Foumban, Cameroun Afrique, en bronze artisanal à la cire perdue. Ancien fin XIXe début XXe, voir antérieur. Support figurant 3 visages d'hommes stylisés dans un style folklorique, surmonté d'un gros globe ajouré façon tressage. Très bel objet de collection rare et précieux de par son histoire et sa vocation sacrée dans les cérémonies. 17,5cm de hauteur max, environ 12cm de diamètre max. Très bel état général, propre et sans accident notable, un peu penchée sur son socle, il ne dispose évidemment pas de son tuyau. Environ 1,300kg.

Rare, superb Bamoun/Bamun ceremonial pipe ornament/sleeve, Cameroon Africa, in lost-wax handcrafted bronze. Antique late 19th early 20th century, Support depicting 3 stylized men's faces in a folk style, topped with a large openwork globe in a braided style. Very beautiful collector's item. 17.5cm max height, approximately 12cm max diameter. Very good overall condition, clean and without notable damage, slightly leaning. Approximately 1.300kg.
